Description

I did this piece for a gallery show. I knew it wouldn't sell to the english garden patrons but I had a message that I wanted to visualize.

At the time Pope Pius the XII was on the slate to be sainted ? Durning Pius XII war and turned a blind eye to the mass murder of Jews, Gypsies and others held in death camps.

My piece was my personal protest against the idea of sainthood. The Catholic Church has sainted the most doubius of characters including those that burn books including the Bible (translated to make it understandable to commoners ). Yes that is a Bible buring in the background.

Keep the camera alive. Tell the world what's goin' on! Skinny Puppy from song 'Tin Omen'

I think that Pius XII is not on the slate to be sainted; then you can evade your sickness :-). You know he was neither instrumental in funding Nazi German, but he occult tons of prosecuted people in monasteries and Rome churches. I like the pic. It remeber me, I dunno the reason, the face of St Joan of Arc,congrats
