Another moody scene, probably my being out of work is having an gloomy effect on these photographs..

Thanks all. Jordy: The image is from a quarry in Northamptonshire. It's very flat there so was looking for something a little different from landscapes. Don: Cheers! I thought the same about the clearness of the image. I didn;t expect it to be that clear as the sun was towards the camera. To compensate I focused on the dark areas first. seemed to work.

It's seems chaotic, but it's balanced. The dark ominous clouds create an atmosphere of turmoil and foreboding....I get the feeling that I'm looking into some sort of dreaded futuristic landscape. The white building is so sharp and exposed well. You did an excellent job, and this is an excellent photo...I love it!
