I wish everyone would do self portraits (particularly as artistic as this one). It makes the viewer feel like they are at an exhibition, and spying the artist drifting through the crowd. But will you let someone paint YOU all black? (as the 'Midnight Faery) LOL

Kinda a devious half smile and I must agree with cyn on the eyes. The forehead seems a bit bright over here, I loose some detail in the (crown?) Nice work, I'm kinda scared to myself up like this.
