Hard to tell what your going for here. You have light coming in the window and lights in the room. You could make it twilight and kill the light coming in the window. increase the room lights and put some falloff on them.I usualy warm the color up some. You could go for a day scene and put a little volume on the window light. Crank it way up and use GI or fake it with some omni lights( turn the specular off ). More objects in the room would help too. Toss in a potted plant or two :)

Cheers for the comments guys. i have my moniter on full brightness so it looks fine to me (doh!) ive corrected it now. im adding a lamp and various other pieces n ive sorted the black splodges on the window. i'll post an updated pic soon. cheers again. :D
