Description

I was going to put a tower in the middleground for him to be looking at, but my 64 Megs of RAM choked on it and I couldn't put it in. :( But, hey ! We're all artists here. So picture if you will....a tower in the middleground!! :)

I really love the POV. I understand the hardship of low RAM hehehe. But I think this is excellent especially that your RAM is low. In this situation I would render the middleground separately then import it as 2d. Anyway, Congrats on overcoming your low RAM.

Beautiful image. The idea of journey is greatly depicted here. --- For the tower, render it again with exactly the same light and terrains (leavin out everything else) and then compose the two images later. I've jumped recently from 64 to 128 (and now I'm gonna go to 384, so I know what you mean.

Excellent composition and render. Re-do the render without the figure but have the tower as seen through the grass from identical POV. I can composite the two images for you if you don't have access to the necessary s/w. IM me if you need.

Thanks everyone. I'm getting my tax return and a new comp in a couple of weeks. :) I may add more to the scene then, and try this one again.

wow, i love the POV, I also like the tall grass. I think it looks cooler w/out the tower ot whatever u were going to put in it, because it seems like he really is beginning a journey somewhere. excellent work miden, i also cant wait to see more work from you!

I like it! Especially without a tower b/c it makes me wonder what is beyond those hills. What does this character see? How long is this journey? It leaves a lot to the imagination, and for me, that draws me into the scene--lets my own mind filling in so many possibilities.
