Description

This photo was taken with the subject unaware at the garden in the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. I love trying to capture scenes that seem to be a snapshot of a larger story.

I really love the colors in this image, great softness, almost dreamy. IMO (not to offend) I think the subject is too centered. Maybe using the rule of thirds would have helped make this great picture even better. ~regards Mel

I like the how the pattern of geometric shapes in the background (the flower beds) really balances this picture out nicely....and it helps to give it interest. The colors are nice too of course.

like how her shoes match the flowers- & the geometric lines & softness too...cropping out the lefthand side with the tree would give it more focal point & interest... bet that would be an interesting & exotic country to visit! welcome to the photo gallery :)

Beautiful scene, agree with cynlee on cropping; doing so would also move figure to left, a good thing. Look forward to more posts.
