Going through the tutorials at Newteks Lightwave site...just learning lightwave.

Nice work! Try to make the depression in the center of the cells paler than the outer portion. This coloration is due to the distribution of hemoglobin in the outer rim of the cells. Also, try to bend the cells along their midlines, so that they look like they are experiencing pressure, as they do in arteries. I also would like to see more cells in the picture. Good job with the biconcave disk shape! Very cool image!
