Description

Inspired of the famous film of Stanley Kubrick (one of my favorite), I decided to make a new version. The station V & Orion spaceship are from: www.strafe.com/2001 and the the texture for the planet is a New Magellan Mosaic (cylindrical) Highres picture of Venus from the NASA. Rendered in Bryce 4. The camera angle is striking. The planet is gorgeous. You treated the model incredibly well. And then, you quoted one of my favourite movies ever with a very nice title! All this makes for an excellent and a Hot20 click.
