Description

This uses one of the preset models from Lightwave, but I thought that the lighting came out really well, and I saw a story behind the render, so here it is. Yes, yes, I'll be creating my own models as I figure out the controls better. ;-) This is my first real render from Lightwave, and I'm ecstatic on how well it does renders, especially for a newbie like me. Cheers!

Interesting render, but the nose of the plane is obscured in darkness. If you want to have an interior scene like this, perhaps radiosity would be much more attractive. Good start though

Very nicely done. I think your lighting here is appropriate for the message that your image conveys. While I do agree that radiosity is a more accurate representation of light, I'm not completely sold on the notion that accuracy is always the best way to get your art rendered. :o)

Actually, I did use Radiosity. I'd play with the light settings some more, but the computer crashed - not LW's fault - and wiped it out. (Yeah, I know, save more often.) Thanks for the comments, especially since this was just a test!
