Description
Some might have seen this pic on Manuel's Trionix site because I created the apple shape using TMM_Torus. It also uses RJJ itx textures and was, of course, rendered in Imagine.

The textures are so good, you could feel the material. Is there a brush map on the apple, in addition to the rjj.itx ?

Glad you like it - my memory was a little faulty. The apple has RRJ bozo very broad and soft for the red/green. The spottiness is using 2 of the standard fuzz.itx in different pale and grayish colors. Blast.itx was used to create the dry skin near the twig. Its the fruit bowl which is loaded with RJJ textures - 6 different ones including RJJIrid2s.itx which creates that rainbow like irridesent specular. This pic is one of my favourites because it shows how cool procedural textures are. (I rarely use maps.)

Your texture are always perfect. Is the green color on the bowl a reflection of the apple or a iridescent texture of the bowl itself or green light or green specular ? This green color is also on the outside edge.

The green highlights are part of the irridesent spec. The idea was to get that semi metallic look you get from certain kinds of glazes and firing - I've done a bit of clay work in my time!
