Description
This is just a quicky to test some ideas. Some worked, some not so much.

The grass absolutely works... just curious what your face count was. Nice job.

Grass from Shag:Fur, I guess... Try to make opacity map on leaves. Now they look... hmmm... strange. And of course bump map for a tree bark.

The grass is actually triangle splines converted to mesh. They have 13 faces each. I made four different blades and scattered them over a ground plane using the (what else) the scatter feature in max. I set it to 10000 instances for each of the four blades. Over at 3D cafe there is a tutorial for grass under max tuts. That is where I learned this technique for the grass. Face count for the grass 520000. For the whole pic I really don't know. This was just a rough idea for a picture. I'm not sure if I want to pursue it further.

This is a great pic And I personally think you should persue it further maybe add some figures and adjust the lighting to a softer glow and I think it would rate a very high vote maybe even have an old man or lady feeding the ducks or geese just some friendly suggestions this is an awesome pic how long to render?

The park is a good work. The trees have to be more realistic and moor grass! The background could better... But a nice idea.
