Description

A slight update to this image. Main differences: I merged the textures from DAZ's Victoria 3 Expansion Pak with the regular V3 Hi-res textures to give Gollum a new skin, improved the lighting a bit, and rendered with bump maps for the first time, thanks to my newly arrived gigabyte of RAM. I also raised the toes and right hand slightly, so I wouldn't have to post-work them out of the ground.

I hadn't seen the first image before now, but I like the improvements... excellent work! Nice bit of story-telling, composition, posing, lighting, everything.

You really captured a moment here. I love Lotr images and great likeness on your Gollum. The only small thing i have is that i would love to see his texture have a more greenish hue to make him the perfect Gollum. Really a great scene! Elfquest
