Nice work - the problem with glass bongs is they look great new, but then they get ugly with resin stains after a few uses... Unless you plan on using it as a nik-nak ;-)

I dunno, LindaB... depends on your view of 'ugly'... most glass pieces' color gets accentuated by resin stain, as long as it doesn't get out of hand and turn grotesquely dark. Never thought I'd discuss this subject on here. Haha.

Very nicely modeled, caustics also came out very nicely. One of the things that has bothered me about modeling and rendering blown glass is the bit where the index of refraction changes at joints. Well done.

I dunno this one looks plastic. I prefer glass, easier to clean. Pass that over here! Nice work!

I made a few Bongs in lightwave, but never thought that anyone would submit a pic of one. Nice work. I thought about making a whole 3D head shop with some basic bongs and pipes and then add in some freaky organically modeled ideas like blown glass type stuff. I think that if I used caustics and radiosity it would take forever to render with all of the transparent elements. I don't know we'll see.

Most Triumphant, Dude. I would say it looks plastic too, but I prefer them. Killer Work.

actually i think it is in fact supposed to be acrylic...like the graffix ones..but yeah anyway..i'd make the strength on the bumb map for a the base..a bit weaker..it's TOO bumpy...and the shadows i would ray trace..only a personal preference there...but nice!:D reverend judas
