Description

This is one of my very first scenery creations using Bryce, and also my very first waterfall. I used practically all Bryce with a little postwork for the mist.

Ok. This is really good fr a first scene. The layout's excellent. However, it looks too...bland. There really isn't an atmosphere and the mist looks good, but fake. Try increasing the haze or fog in Bryce. I can't really talk though...I've only made one waterfall pic and it's in my gallery titled "Bathing Beauty." Check it out and see if it help any. Most of the mist is postwork done in Photoshop 7 (doesn't really matter what version) using Ulead's Particle System, which is a free download from their site. But it really is a good image and I hope that my feedback helps a little bit. Take care and keep creating; it's the only way anyone can get better!

Fabulous job especially that it's your first Bryce scenery. I don't really think you need a particle system, I just used plain Photoshop to postwork my waterfalls. The overall structure is excellent for a waterfall but the atmosphere is a bit dark. Also you can add some grass around the water just as an enhancement, it's free from www.3dplants.com . Keep posting, hope to see more.

this image would be good with a little more atmosphere. and one more thing. the water texture looks a little too calm. Other than that, I can say that my first landscape image with bryce was basicly horse dun compared to this! I can already tell that your gallery will begin to improve greatly!!! Keep them coming!

Very nice first try at a waterfall (fyi: mine didnt look half as good!), this has a really good camera angle and the object placement is also good. Try putting a small mountain on both sides of the water because right now its defying the laws of physics and gravity! lol anyways excellent job on your first waterfall.
