This page contains samples of some of my best artwork and various 3D models to date. Feel free to comment on anything you see here. BIO I have been an artist all my life from sculpting to painting to building ships in bottles I have had a hand in nearly everything. Several years ago I was given a glimpse at what a computer could do when an artist was at the helm. I quickly learned that the way to express myself and bring my visions to life was 3D art. I have a background in printing, graphics communication and advertising design. I became lead modeler at Faultline Studios and worked on illustrations for the card game "Crown of the Emperor". I have worked on several book covers and enjoy bringing ideas to life.
I am now lead graphics artist for RonEd Media and have continued to increase my abilities and portfolio. My goal has been to do illustrations for a sci-fi book, magazine or non-fiction titles on the paranormal. I enjoy creating various images usually sci-fi in nature that center on the darkside or human thought and technology. The many "what ifs" that fill our minds at dark hours and the need to believe in other things that give us hope in dark times. I have learned to use many programs and will likely learn many more to help in telling my stories better. The latest addition to my pallet is Vue 8 Complete and the results are amazing, expect more. I would like to thank Sci-fi channel and Sci-fi weekly for allowing me to share some of my visions with the world " My latest contribution to the 3-D world is the Cydonia model and material sets, a joint project between me and Gill Brooks. You can also find my "Shattered Worlds" sets and materials for Vue and Poser in the market place.

Seeing that monument in any form, always gets me. Excellent!

wow... How did you get that reflection....Its amazing...The sky in the top right corner doesn't completely match with the one on the monument but that would be super hard to match...

This is an excellent image and your work is wonderful in every object, but there is the feeling of it being in a 'room' instead of it being outdoors. At least to me this is what i feel when looking at it. The sky above it does not lend to the feeling of the wall being outside and that stops the flow IMO. The woman is a bit out of perspective to the wall too. unless this wall is not over 5'7 or so. Other than that, WOW it's wonderful. Excellent work anyway you look at it. :)

Just some thoughts you might find helpful since I live in the DC area, and I've visited the Wall many times. There is a gutter at the base of the wall, a brick border about two feet wide before the sidewalk, and lights built into the brick base about every other panel. The trees in the background are also much more dense. Also, the wall is a bit taller and the text is smaller, and there aren't that many female names. Not exactly accurate, but I like your image nevertheless.

..................... I am speechless. I have seen this memorial twice and it has always demanded a humble approach from all who grace it's presence. The reflection of the veteran in the background saluting it speaks volumes as to the respect it commands. You have created a heart warming and heart rending image. I do hope all who see this are reminded of all those who fell by giving all they had so we can live comfortably in this land of freedom and peace.

It's an awesome image. Agree with SeaC with the feel of indoor. Apart from that, this is one of the most delicate use of reflections I saw in a big while. Excellent job.

A very beautiful memorial. I really love those reflections, esp the guy saluting at the backround.

I've been to the wall, and as a vet this is a wonderful tribute to are fallen brothers.

This is excellent, so mark this comment here as an idea. You said you think it lacks something, and I think it just lacks some feeling. I would take the mother figure and have her touch the wall, maybe have the daughter holding a picture of her father in uniform. I see you have the mother's head turned slightly toward the girl, but you don't need to see her face... we'll see it in the reflection. I wouldn't give her a smile either, maybe a look of rememberance. The sky in the upper hand corner doesn't make sense to me, it's extreamly grey and then there is an almost blue-sky relection off the wall. You have such an excellent base for a great image, don't give up on this one! Ahhh, I totally think you should do you own texture maps for the figures, they look alittle too artificial and there is something about the girl's legs that feels awkward to me. Now back to the feeling of the image, I would color balance this to blues and greys. Now, about the wall itself... it's too short. Think about surroundings. At the actual wall, there is a layer of cement at the bottom and then grass, and then a walkway. Here is a great referance image for you - http://thewall-usa.com/buttons/daddysgirl.jpg. (I love this picture). Just keep it up, you got something great going here!
