I'm a french programmer. Most of the time, I create pictures to test my own modelling softwares. I also like to manipulate pixels, create texture or particles.BIOI remember the first grafic program I made on the commodore 64, a wireframe house turning around the vertical axis. Today, I write software to create specific 3D objects, complex primitive and also bitmap pictures. By the way, I sell my programs on this site : www.tpp.le-site-web.com . I'm exploring many other graphic techniques and not only on computer, calligraphy, origami.

Manuel,...this is totaly cool man...a wonderful new utility mate...how long to render that then?
ManuelFr57
It was rendered in about 5 hours on a 1Ghz pentium. I don't know the exact number because it was during the night.

I have tried to achieve this with particles but always gave up due to the huge number of polys. This is amazing, how's that possible ? 5 gours only and I see the tree's shades. it's raytracing !

This is amazing! I love the lighting effect- hopefully, the Amiga version will support Volumetrics in the future.

I seem to have missed this one on recent visits to Renderosity! Nice work Manuel. How exactly did you make the leaves with Tuby?
ManuelFr57
Thank you all for the nice comments. Burnart : the tree is levels 1-6, for the leaves I make a level 5-7 object and used the imagine particle function with a 'group of leaves' object. The process is explained in this tutorial : http://www.tpp.le-site-web.com/ptubytut.html

This is the best use of volumetrics I have seen - I haven't that program version, so this is quite beyond me - but, oh my, this is an image by which to dream!

Wow, absolutely one the best natural pictures I've seen done with Imagine. The use of volumetrics is very good, give the image a very special feeling of mystery. I'd love to find myself from a place like this.

Very nice indeed - almost like a photograph. Just shows how black and white can sometimes be more effective than color.

This is indeed a beautiful foggy grove.

Beautiful! This one captures the imagination. Black and white are such classics, and this image is a perfect example of that.
