Description
A Normandy holiday cottage, in need of serious renovation. I don't know why but I decided to do the ivy as scattered planes, each with a leaf texture and opacity map applied to it...So when using the max 5 sky light this can be abit harsh on render times. I was toying with the idea of putting a black & white version up because I think it looks quite nice, but I decided against it, I may upload a B&W later. Please leave feedback, thanks in advance :)

Very realistic and awesome textures...

Cool pic! Real look, just plants on walls need additional geometry for correct thickness and a bit shadowcasting. Excellent texturing! Great work!

It definitely caught my eye. Very nice work. Keep going with the plant textures, perhaps more of a bump? At the moment it looks a bit like the house has been slimed, but that is just my opinion. What do I know??

This is very tastefully done!

yea vana is right, exept the vegetaion on the hous the picture looks photo realistic. Either remove all of the "wall plants" or add a opacity map so that parts of it becomes transparent. The picture is excellent anyway. great work! |:)

Great! The grass texture is far better than mine! but the ivys green seems to be too strong. Keep up the great work!!

yeah man, that grass..... good shit man. chortle mmmyes that skylight can indeed be harsh on the ol' render thing. Gotta love a nice crisp render. i know i do.

Excellent! How about, modifying your "Plant Planes" a bit... I mean to give it some anomalies, so, it looks like the plants are not all "stuck" on the wall. Also, adding some "Brown" in that for the simulation of branches would add to the realism... Otherwise, it's great! Marco
