hmmm..did you smooth this? Somewhat familiar with Giddings' work, but haven't actually, er, used anything yet. You might try a blue glow from the nacelle body, red glow from the nacelle ends, maybe a little stretch on the height..great background, BTW..

Smoothing was done at around 50%...anything more made it look odd. Thanks for the input on the "glow," I'll give it a go. In regard to the height, I did nothing to the model dimensionally, so I'm not sure if it's the position I chose that make it appear short through the fuselage, coupled with the saucer section covering a lot.
