Description

I have been swing dancing for about 4 years off and havent been able to lately because I finally started college :) but I found a few of my ol performance pics and flipped one of them horizontally so they faced the other... thought it was pretty interesting :) We did the opening for the Tulip Festival in 1999 accompanied by a 75 piece big band it was awesome! There was an older woman who came up to us after the show and she was in tears and told us she met her late husband at a USO dance and they had danced their first dance to one of the songs we danced to that night (Benny Goodman~ Sing Sing Sing) It was so cool to see the memories in her eyes and see how much it made her feel alive again just to watch us dancing..... Anyway, Im the third "Dame" over ;) the one looking AT the camera instead of the fellas sheesh. can you tell IM a photographer? HAH And here ya have us, all decked out having just danced our asses off :) (Oh and I was 6 weeks pregnant and didnt know and kept on dancing full throttle up until two weeks before he was born HAH maybe Ill post that picture sometime :D)
