Description

'Is it bright where you are Have the people changed Does it make you happy you're so strange And in your darkest hour, I hold secrets flame You can watch the world devoured in its pain' This is a follow up to the Hill picture I posted some months ago. With this one I would like to show you how the season of time can change a scenery so radically. This was taken some days before Christmas. As I wrote under the Hill picture the first time, it is a place very spiritual for me, and for most people from my hometown really. And I hope you can actually sense the difference in spirit also coming from the hill itself. Even though it is not 100% stated it is a King burried beneath, I am sure instead. A place without the history of the Viking King could not give out such feelings when you stand next to it. :) The quote is from a Smashing Pumpkins song and I felt it reflects the very rough times the Viking Age was. And also the dark times that the world are being in at the moment. But as the sky is birghtly blue in the picture, so can always time become too.

lovely... and so noble scenery too dear. Pity for the marks on the sky, but the light and the contrasts between black almost and the blue and white give out such an impression of force. Can't wait to see what you will let us see from your Montreal trip :)

Nice! I thought it was the same as previous one as soon as I saw it, but the different title fooled me a bit. Good work.

Not bad dude. Clean up the sky next time though. Respect from France.

I can tell from your photos that you feel the deep link to the past places like this give you - and the sense that many, many people have watched the changing of the seasons here and somehow you are part of this long chain of people.
