Description
While I'm waiting for another weeklong render to finish, I did something I wanted to do since a long while: this is one of my favourite images I've done in the pre-Renderosity times :-), using still Bryce4, and I wanted to enhance it adding some of the things I've learned here so far.
So this is a repost, in which I softened the colors and the lights and adjusted a bit the levels to enhance the dreamy feeling that at the time I wasn't able to convey. I hope this time I succeeded.
If you're curious and want to see the old version, click here to take a look.
This image, like the first (of course) is dedicated to a wonderful girl, Diletta.
It was inspired by one delicate fantasy we shared last winter.
Thanx for stopping by. Have a wonderful week and, of course, feel free to comment and/or criticize.

This is much better than the original. It is amazing what a little postwork can do to complement a great image. I feel sorry for those who despise postwork in favor of using only pure Bryce renderings. The dream-like effect is marvelous.

Normally i really don't like soft blured pictures, but in this case... the image is so great!!!
Calanthe
Very well done, I like the soft athmosphere.

Bravo. ;o)

Dreamy , yes that covers it. An excelent balance of light and blurring to achieve a very imersive atmosphere of surealism I think. Some masterpieces can take years to compleate.

This is amazing. Living example of why I love postwork. It looks like a completely re-rendered image. It looks like a dream! A brilliant job Stefano, thanks so much for doing this!

This is very nice picture. Personally I like the other one also. I like the magic that the blurring gives this one, but I also liked the other for its clarity. Great work!

OOOOH What an awesome pic! The scene is so real and perfect. I love how the light has a hazy misty effect on the atmosphere. I can only imagine the amount of time that was spent making this. ryn: actually.. all my stuff is pretty old, tho some of the posers were just added in recently. I been doin the bryce bgs for like a year now and poser for like 8 mos. But improvement is clear I think after each render, and on the both. The more that I do it, the more intricate and detailed they become. Lol sorry for the book I just wrote.
Trouble
I like this one much better than the original. Lovely soft quality does enhance the dreamy value! ;)

Really great work on the postwork Stefano. Shows that there are certainly things that are at least easier to do like that than IN Bryce itself (wouldnt know how to do this in either btw ;)
