Description
Lucy, my demented (but infinitely adored) calico cat, dearly loves to drink from the kitchen tap. She consistently fails to understand, however, that the temperature of the water closely equals that of the ground through which the water pipes run. Consequently, on days such as this one when the window thermometer registered 20 degrees below zero, drinking tap water very quickly will produce the same brainfreeze sensation in cats that humans experience when they wolf down ice cream... obviously... ;)

This is a great image. I love the lighting: it's smoothness etc. It that a frosted window ? Raj

Thank you, Raj... :) No... the window is just a 60's era "less than efficient sliding style"... but we're used to paying to heat the great outdoors... lol! Thanks so much for your comment... I truly appreciate your feedback... :)

Oh Helen, this is sooooo cute! We've got a cat that insists on drinking out of the taps too, but of course in Texas, the water doesn't get nearly so cold!
