Description

This was actually the first image I created for Vicious Rumors new CD cover, from an idea given to me by guitarist/mastermind Geoff Thorpe. The shark and shark silhouettes are all drawn manually [thank goodness for many good angles in National Geographic; What do you all think of the visible gill-hole in the mouth? A *LOT* of people have complained to me that showing that was taking reality too far, but I cannot do it any other way.. that's me...], and the rest was tweaked in PhotoSHOP and PhotoPAINT [thanks to the NOAA website for a cool cloudscape background]. After I got over what a twisted concept this is, I really got into it, and I thought it would make a great cover. I need to re-work the lightning, and a few details, but I like it.. Oh, before I forget again, the logo and name are trademark of/by Vicious Rumors and GTM Worldwide. For the stuff that was accepted, check www.viciousrumors.com

dude! the shark is awesome. you did a fantastic job on him... as for the gills, well, you know that's a personal thing, i sortof agree with you but then if it changes the focus of the pic undesireably then mebbe a modificiation is in order... that's totally your call. i like the vr logo thingie but i got probs with the lightening... mebbee too much? or not enough ? but this is 99% there... i like it allot, and think you should pursue this to completion!
