Description
Times were not always so opulent for the van Handenbergs (the world's first "digitally correct" family)....
After Mrs Thatcher (the Snatcher) came to power the van Handenbergs fell on hard times along with the three million others who were unemployed. Mother prayed for a way out, father didn't shave or cut his hair for years, and was seldom far from his favourite juniper flavoured emotional crutch. The kids, Pinky and Ringo were ashamed, in that selfish adolescent way~ only baby was content in her blissful ignorance of what an economic downturn really meant.
It all seemed a million miles from Palm Beach can you imagine it? The world's first "digitally correct" family had been reduced to wearing hand-me-downs and accepting State hand outs......

This is a sad, sad story, lots of misadventure in this beautifully strange and surreal world of yours. Maybe the van Handenbergs could give a strong hand in overthrowing the Snatcher's govt.
