How do I apply a glow to the beam?

Right click on the beam for properties, set g-buffer object channel to 1, go to rendering>effects>add lense effect>lens effect paramaters>glow>under glow elements rollout, click options tab, set object ID to 1 and mess with settings. I know this is very general but it's actually not to hard. You'll see if you follow these instructions. Good Luck!

Thanks, got the glow. I'll post the final when i've tinkered with it to the point of tinkering my ass off.
