I've been a 3d "hobby artist" on and off since sometime around 2000 or so. I've never stuck with it long enough to get good or to learn any advanced techniques, but when I do "play around" I have fun.
I also started messing around with vector drawing, as I can't really draw. Using vector allows me to utilize shape deformation and tweaking to create my scenes.
As of right now, July 2018, I'm working hard toward a goal I've had for a decade plus, and that is to make physical card, dice and board games for adults as well as animations and some simple video games. To that end, I'm developing my own characters in vector. The style is simplistic but I believe it will be really good once I have several items completed.

Great image - love the lighting although I'm not sure what the floating balls symbolize

Invoking the muse, eh? It's worked before! I hope she smiles on you like the lass in your pic is doing. Good luck!

Eryk - I admire greatly your combination of both humor and bravery in your prologue by inviting either 'comments and insults'...lol. What I see here before me is worthy of many beautiful comments - but I see precious little that should invoke an insult unless the viewer is both heartless and derives some form of perverted joy from setting fire to stray dogs and cats. This is not only a very imaginative image my friend, and even if it doesn't measure up to exactly what you originally envisioned - the result is visionary impact and an excellent form of surrealism. I am very impressed with the twist on the reflective bubbles - in that they are upside down and reversed - a very inventive touch to be sure. Excellent work and worthy of a vote!
