I like the conceit behind this image. The lighting his a bit harsh though, and soft focus would have been perfect for this image, possibly closer on the camera position to show more of that wonderful tear.

I agree with all the comments above. However, being a mom, I'm not comfortable with the translucency of her outfit due to the age of her face.

There are very few artists who can bring a Poser figure to life. You and Will Kramer are among those who can. Far too often I see Bryce images with plastic-looking, lifeless Poser figures which all look the same, just for the sake of using Poser. This is an excellent image which produces immense feeling.
