Its the Zeus opens fire again, sorta. Just playing with my skills. (what skills?) Hey, maybe we should create a pyro gallery too. Ooh, I like that thought. Everybody just plays and... i should stop rambling. Comment! Rate! Repeat!

Man that engine glow on the Cruiser looks like crap. need to work on that.

the laser looks like 2 'direct' lights with one inside the other. u can get a better effect with just 1 and no need for post effects. just keep playing, thats the best way to learn! a post of the same pic after a lot of 'playing' would be interesting to see how much you improve. keep going! :D

Well actually, its a pair of tubes with a lava material aplied to them, then set to environment, then the opacity is at somthing like 60-75%. I set the thing to glow using some technique that im having a hard time recalling, i can do it, i just cant describe it. Still, it is a post. The light on the ships was created using a single spot directed down the beam. No direct lights at all.

I should probably soften the edge on the spot. The light is too crisp on the back side of the near cruiser.
