Description
25mins to render. Just a quick model of a lamp I've get sitting on my desk.

This is a very nice image. The only problem I have is that the shadows on the two grey balls on the left of the image seem to be heading in the wrong direction, unless this is a very weak lamp. You've captured the frosted plastic look perfectly, and the chrome reflections make me wonder what the heck is going on in the rest of the room! (Laser Floyd?!?)

thanks for the comment ;-) ...the lamp is quite dim in reality and I was trying to simulate exterior environment (ie. the rest of the room) which is where them shadows are coming from. The environment reflection is actually a shot of the room the real lamp is sitting in...quite a warmly lit room!

Absolutely Great! Great glow effect... Oh as for the Shadows, They are perfect ( It DOES look like the balls are casting the shadows th wrong way, but if ya knotice there is another light in the scene in which also casts shadows in the opposite direction)! Keep up the good work man!
