BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

Beautiful concept and materials. Minimal and, at the same time, full of emotions.

This one really resonates with me. It also reminds me of the Twin Towers, so it is like a memorial. It's the doorway to the future world. I love the feeling of looking into another dimension. The shapes on the left are very beautiful. Keep in mind that it is very difficult for me to single out one of your works; they are all so very beautiful.
