Nice work Ron. I think I would start by drawing the outline of the chain in Illustrator and then extruding the bits and pieces as needed. That or you could draw 1 link and then use the align to path tool with as many segments as you need. That's just how I would do it. I'm not sure if it's the most efficient way though. Again, nice work. I really like the lights! - dano

Your hardtail needs some work here and there. The tires are crying for better textures... the best way how to do the chain was written by dandavis, got no idea to make it better or easier. At all you have done a fine work, has many potential. ThanX for posting! ~{o;)

Great modelling... here's a trick for you.. expanding on Dan's advice. Switch to a straight on orthagonal view, full screeen, and take a screen shot, and bring it into Illustrator, or some vector program, and trace the outline of the WHOLE chain, as you would like it to appear, there. Then, when you are done, bring it it into C4D, put it in place (on camera-front side of the gears), extrude, then duplicate it again, and locate it on the back of the gears.

Looks pretty good, how are you going to do the derailer and freewheel cassette? Bill
