I have been developing my skills in photography and digital art since obtaining my Masters in Arts from the University of Aix en Provence, with a long history of drawing and painting well before that. My recent work is centered around digital coloring of comics, designing CD covers and graphics elements for websites and multimedia creations, but I still occasionally paint and sculpt when I find the time.

Darker colours give this man a creepy feel. I'm not sure which one I like better because they are so different from each other. This one is the darker side of the man. The eyes are the most emotional and part. An empty, hollow soul looking to get an answer.

Just checked out the rest of your gallery. Really nice stuff! Glad to see something other than the normal run of the mill Photoshop filtered photos that overpopulate most 2D galleries. Real art. And isn't Painter a great program?!?!

I really like the intensity of this one & it's great to see such creative work with Painter.

I think the colour version had interesting points too, you should put it back up along this one. Both look very good to me in spite of the "OpenCanvas" touch the brushstrokes have. Even though I know it's a Painter work. A great picture nonetheless. The colour version had a "fiery" effect on the yellows that was really excellent.

This takes me into a very strange headspace, a frozen image but the feeling of shifting and morphing is very strong inded. Like your style :-)
