I think it's a very nice shot. The colors, the sharpness and the repetition of color and shape in the background. Maybe crop the right side a bit to take the front flower off center and help link the back flower and the front flower. I like this shot

Oooo....is this a controversial shot?....to busy, just right? Quite lovely...I agree with derick about the repetition in the background...I think it adds a nice touch....were it mine I would leave it as is....it's well balanced just the way it is....at least IMHO. :~) And I'm envious of you trip to the Everglades...you found some wonderful things!
