Description

A view of one of the beaches on Kho Phuket, I forget the name of the beach though. I was fascinated by the clouds and the terrific colors. I know that I need to work on my composition a bit more. I took almost 30 shots from this spot and I'm afraid that this one turned out best. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to look.

I've never been to Thailand but it must be a great place to explore. I lived in Mexico for a couple of years and had a lot of fun looking around there. I find landscape photos are always the hardes for me. My pictures never seem to capture the aspects of the scene that made me want to photograph it in the first place.

Thanks for the comments... and yes, like you, Ajax... I have trouble with landscapes (and seascapes, and cityscapes, and interiors... and pretty much everything). Thank goodness for digital cameras for newbies like me who need quick feedback.

Michelle... lol... it's pronounced "pooh-ked". Never could figure out the logic behind the anglicized spelling of Thai, like "sooh-rah-wong" is spelled "Suriawongse". DOH!

As I've said before, I could "visit" the entire world, just relying on your eyes, artistic sense and digital camera! You've captured some wonderful clouds! Well done!
