Description

This is my first real render with Vue. I've used Bryce for a while, now Vue d'Esprit and Xfrog have been added to my arsenal, so I'll probably fire away in this gallery as well ;o) I had some problems with my custom Oak-leaf texture, white/transparent lines around the leaves, but I worked it out. Compared to Bryce one thing is striking: Vue renders much faster, that's nice. Some grass objects are imported objects from Bantam3D Grass 6 - not too happy about them myself, well, maybe next time ;o) The image was post processed with Photoshop (filtering, signature), Thanks for viewing - comments welcome

Came out really lovely! I"d love to get hold of an oak leaf texture...no oaks anywhere around where I live.....

I had some initial troubles adjusting from Bryce to Vue, mostly in dealing with the crispness in render quality, but I think you've done an excellent job on your first image. The scene movement is beautiful and you've nailed the details and atmosphere. Fine work!
