I had just finished a story chapter and this picture illustrates the desert at the top of the escarpment perfectly. Thanks. I like the use of the foreground to set the picture up and the way the sunlight captures things. I've seen the same look (the clouds creating shade because of the angle, the sun still just a little yellow, the ground below coloring) in the California Mountains near Antelope Valley. I liked it!

Whooo.. yes this sure is a dryed out place you have depicted. Wonderful use of surface and light to create that effect, and everything looks so amazingly clear. This is a TG masterpiece IMO. Excellent and top 20.
