Description
My second image inspired by a book about old gothic churches. Everything modeled and rendered in 3DS. The knight is a poser figure. Comments are very welcome.

I think it looks really great. I don't know, it might be just me, but I think if the light that is shining on him were coming from the window, it would look nicer. The light that's there now just seems out of place to me. Like I said, just my opinion - I think it looks fantastic as it is now too. :)

amazing church, you've got the feel of a gothic church just right, I'm awed by your stain glass

It's very good. He needs a contact shadow right at his feet -- even with the reflectivity there would be some darkening. His arms should also cut dark stripes into your volumetric lighting; I see a hint of that, but it should be more pronounced.

The Church is fantastic!!! But, I agree with Brandi- I think the light should come from the window for a more dramatic effect. But other than that it's great! By the way beautiful stained glass-did you make that texture yourself?

Many thanks for your kind comments. 3D Freak - Yes I made the textures by myself. If somebody is interested I could post them in the max forum.
