Of course we could just sit back and wait, and wait, and hope and pray, just like the Chamberlands of England did, and just like all us AMERICANS did in 1938, until the day the EVIL one brings his horror to us like on December 7th 1941. Oh no, not me. I say "LET'S ROLL" now and not let it get to the point when hundreds of thousands die. No, not when we could stop it now. Imagine, just imagine what we could have done in 1938 if we had had the courage, the vision that our President has today. Imagine all those grandchildren that would have actually known their Grandpas and Grandmas, and even their parents. I say we owe it to all those that had fallen in past wars to STOP THIS NOW!!!

Your image reminds of the guy (in the white suit) that you used to chase me up and down the hallways when I was institutionalize. PS I only ran up down the hallways so I could get the "Better" drugs, man they had some GOOD STUFF!

There are still ways to stop Saddam without war.

You must live in a Nuke-Proof, Gas-Proof, house with enough food and water to last you forever, and that has to be the only reason you would even waste you time posting this garbage, WAR is not always the answer, and this is coming from a 10 year veteran, who served time in Desert Storm.

No, war isn't ALWAYS the answer. But anyone who thinks saddam can be delt with as if he's human is out of their mind. After watching the twin towers fall, I am fed up with people whining about the "innocent". Terrorist have to be stopped. Do we let them run free just because they surround themselves with these innocents? I absolutely HATE the idea that anyone else besides saddam and all his cronies will die if we need to use force to get rid of them, but when push comes to shove, a few now beats millions later. You just cannot wait until these creatures get positioned to do another 9/11 style attack. That would be hard-cord idiocy.

The relationship between 9/11 and Saddam Hussein has NEVER been proven. In fact, in the context of "War on Terrorism", attacking Iraq is going off at a complete tangent... If any of the pro-war campaigners can read, then Michael Moores "Stupid White Men" is a good place to start. In summary: The Bush family and the bin Laden family are great friends, with the bin Laden family partially financing the first Bush oil venture in 1979. The bin Laden Family have been sponsering the Bushs since. Saddam and bin Laden hate each other (and by "hate", I mean absolutely despise each other, cannot tolerate each other and would never work together). (So how come this War on Terror is focusing on Iraq. What about ETA in northern Spain, or the IRA or UDA in Northern Ireland...they all fit the definition of terrorists, in fact substantially more than Saddam Hussein does - check the recent body count - and are only a short trip across the Atlantic for the American armed forces) George Bush is a fucking idiotic criminal pursuing ulterior motives and protecting vested interests. Unfortunately, he is surrounded by a cabinet of very intelligent criminals, with their own motives and interests, advising (commanding?) him accordingly. And what happened in Florida? Pure and utter corruption and criminality! I wouldnt drink with George Bush if the drinks were on him (and Im an alcoholic), nevermind going to war and putting my life on the line for that scumbag. I used to trust Tony Blair, but hes been damned by association with that idiot. If I was in a room with Saddam Hussein, Id rip his genocidal fucking head off and save all this hassle. But lets face it, Saddam is not the problem...unethical, immoral foreign policy on the part of the US, British and French governments forms the crux of the problem. Anyone thats pro-war needs a simple lesson in cause-and-effect, because the pro-war campaigners are clearly naive about certain facts of life, such as "you reap what you sow". This should go without saying, but nonetheless its worth pointing out that what Ive said above is a personal diatribe against George Bush and marginally against Blair and Chirac, not the people who populate the countries in question. I`m also sure that this cannot be contsrued as a missive supporting Saddam (tabloids in Britain work in black and white, e.g. - anti-war=pro Saddam). For politicians, war is an abstract, perhaps unpleasant notion. For those on the ground it is a horrendous reality and until my dying day I swear I will never kill another human being just because a politician tells me to. As an old war veteran said on the Radio Scotland on Wednesday, "if you want to go to war, go down the recruitment office, get your uniform, get your gun and fuck off".

I have seen war. I have been there - up close - felt it, smelled it and heard it. I am probably decades older than most who post here and I have known people like the one who posted this and I have seen several of them die in war...seen them beg to live another day and beg for forgiveness for the killing they had done and the destruction they had caused. These people are neither heroic nor noble and certainly not thoughtful. Sadly, as sick as they are, they are to be tolerated and their rights are protected in civilized society - where they would not provide the same for others. These people simply kill those they disagree with whenever possible and especially they will kill others when sanctioned by their government. It is precisely they who are to be protected until the time that they become a threat to the rest of civilized society. People who would post this kind of thing are no different from Sadam Hussein - no different whatsoever and it is they who must be resisted. They are precisely the terrorists on the ground in the US and other places, and it is they who now threaten all the rest of us with their arrogance morbidity and violence. They are no different whatsoever from the taliban in their belief of a righteous cause and their unspeakably horrific means of the enforcement of their beliefs. It is we who truly know and cherish peace (not 'piece') who are in a distinctly perilous positionand it is they who would post such hatred. These people know nothing about war or about risking death for a noble or just cause - nothing about the 'right thing to do'. Nothing whatsoever. It is people like the poster of this image whose brutalilty threatens ruin of the planet for the rest of us. Unfortunately some of these people are in power in all places - Korea, Iraq, the white house...they all richly deserve each other. It is we who will have to suffer the consequences and clean up their disgusting offal.

Hippies? What decade do you think this is? Having done the war thing - up close and personal, it is obvious to me that Bush hasn't or we wouldnt be in such a rush to war. Rush not to judgement - but once decided let no one deter you. But rush not to judgement.

Otheramerika... I am left breathless at your eloquence and can only say how deeply I agree. If you want to know just how bad an idea this war is... ask a soldier. Large numbers of them have expressed reservations, misgivings, opposition or outright vehement disgust for the war plans of the Bush administration. As Gen. Zinni, I believe it was, said, it's astonishing that those who are most in favor of this war have never served in one, while many of those who oppose it are past or present soldiers. Fun facts on Iraq: All available evidence suggests Iraq was in no way connected to 9/11. Mohammad Atta, first trumpeted as evidence of a connection, was IN THE US at the time he was supposed to have been in Iraq! Al-Zarqawi, currently touted as "the connection" is NOT a member of al-Quaida (he runs an Islamist group called Ansar) and is NOT connected with the government of Iraq, either! (His group is located in the autonomous Kurdish region - the Kurds have VERY good reason to hate Hussein. Closest he's ever been to Iraq's rulership? He once went to a hospital in Baghdad.) Fun facts on the Bush administration: During Vietnam, Bush joined the Texas Air National Guard, proudly guarding the unthreatened homefront (except the year he was AWOL) while his compatriots went off to risk death. Cheney didn't serve at all: he "had other priorities" at that time. Rumsfeld at least didn't duck military service, but his service fell in the post-Korean war years. On t'other hand, many other war hawks - sometimes dubbed "chicken hawks" - never saw military service; some are outright draft dodged. No connection between Iraq and 9/11? Al-Zarqawi not a connection? The New Yorker, hardly a right-wing rag, begs to differ. http://newyorker.com/fact/content/?020325fa_FACT1

Well as a way of getting comments it beats big tits into a cocked hat :) My only comment would be, that yes. Ther are evil people in the world, problem is there are more "evil" people in the world than Saddam, and I don't see anyone volunteering to kick thier asses.... Then of course, the term "evil" like the term "terrorist" is relative. One mans "Terrorist" is anothers "freedom fighter" after all.

get rid of this saddam there will soon be another one. more people died in wars after WW2 then in WW2. we think we can live the way we like, push warped ideas upon our society and other countries and be safe from maniacs in our paradise here. we create hell on earth so maniacs are just a part of it. Ever wondered why Russians, Chinese and Arabs dislike American culture, films, ideas and way of life?! didn't Americans learn anything from WTC tragedy? the problem is not outside America. The problem is and has always been inside her. America is very sinful and proud, but her power will turn out to be misleading... I'm sorry...
