Description
I need some help with this picture! I did the girl in poser, and did the clothing, and hair in photoshop. By problem is the girl still doesnt look real. I have seen some pretty real looking pictures on here. Any help would be greatly helpful.

I just can't name that I like your username too! Ok, what you can do about this picture is making it less plat, play with lighting, some shadows and lights on right places can make wonders. Second - maybe change a posing a little, the figures' arms are almost in one horizontal line and it makes some strange feeling about the picture. Turn the head a little maybe, so the figure is no longer so strictly in profile. Think out which scene you are considering your figure for - use a background picture, if you don't have needed props. Just play and don't take it so seriously! GOOD LUCK!

In a word: noise. Poser will take a nice, smooth texture and render it over a nice smooth model. What you get is a nice, smooth person with nice smooth reflections/highlights. Problem is, real people are not smooth. Add a little noise to your texture, add a little noise to your bump map. IMHO, the pics and parts of pics that look the most human are the ones with just a wee bit of randomness to them.

I'd bend her left toe to start with.
