BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

Love that shade of blue. Wonderful contrast with the gray material. Looks like 2 doting parents. :)

More austere than your usual ... but then memories tend to be quite somber in some cases. The light airy and sweeping beauty sometimes gets lost in reminisce. As always your work is faultless. Textures, balance and lighting all work together so well in your hands. Be well my friends. :-D

This has a beautiful level of flow and even though the objects are static, they appear to have movement. Does that make sense? Very nicely done and a wonderful choice of color tones.

Your work never ceases to amaze me - so evocative...so intense and rich in human experience, without ever picturing a human. Thank you for sharing with us!

I'm always amazed at how you are able to convey expression and feelings in such abstract shapes. Those in the pic above seems really to exchange talks and memories. A sure Hot20 IMO.
