Description

This is another mesh I'm working on. I visited Sci-Fi3D the other day (www.theforce.net/scifi3d) and realized the Eopie I did really sucked! Well, it's been a year since I first made that thing so I decided to see how different the model would be with my current abilities. What do ya think?

this is amazing!! i think everyone knows how to mesh curves in rhino but me... is this just combining primitives and lofts, meshing them, then reducing the mesh to smooth the shape out? er something like that... i need tutorials on stuff like this.

Actually, it's just combining lofts. Everything except the eyeballs are lofts that were point edited. The eyeballs them selves are spheres. Body and head = 1 loft. Front Leg = 1 loft that was mirrored and blended. Back Leg = 1 loft that was mirrored and blended. The technique you mentioned wouldn't work in Rhino, only MAX.
