Hi Igor, i like surf, beach, grass and model, but i think the 3 palms in the back are a bit out of scale. The beach sand is a nice material, i can't see any tiling ;)

Beautiful, serene. The sky is absolutely stunning. The palms do look slightly odd for some reason - a bit too "stickish", though perhaps a species I'm not familiar with. Thanks for such an image on this late cold evening in Vermont.

Yeah, you're right - the palms need some work. And probably I need a different kind of them too :-)

Hi Igor, So this is what you do in your spare time! Laying on the beach, just kidding. Nice to see you post here. I havent seen these palms in any known library yet. The leaves look nice, the trunk needs more roughness in texturing and modeling (i think). The surf is great, a real improvement to the older version, Micheal did a great job on that as well as the whole development team with getting version 3.55 out. Can't wait to see what is in store for version 4. Very nice image, would love to see more of your work here, maybe some "older" work you still have to show what WB has evolved into over the years? Regards, Dimitri

Great job on the water and sky! The woman in the bikini looks like she's wearing a bucket on her head? I agree with Dimitri about the palm trees.

Dmitri: Check out plnext02.odb for the palms. They were modified using Scale Cells modifier (found at the same place as the wind modifier). I made trunks thinner and longer. This is by the way mostly ovelooked but pretty powerful tool! ialora: :-)) yeah, the character's hair rendered like this look somewhat strange. Probably I will try Poser 5 or Maya Paint Effects for the hair next time.
