Description

One thing I've noticed about Vue is that it isn't very good at making daytime-images with a large depth. I therefore experimented a lot with the haze in this one to see if I could make a good "depth-daytime-atmosphere". :) The background forest was made using alphaplanes. Thanks to Wabe. The grass was made by Dani36 Flowers from 3dplants.com Comments are very welcome! Thanks for viewing! - Thomas :) - I've also made an atmosphere-package which can be downloaded in the freestuff. Big thanks to Tradivoro for hosting it :) -

A little river or something would have made it perfect. But you did a terrific job anyway!

First off, I have to say "I hate you" for making me jealous with your skill here. :) Your tree looks so real, its fantastic. Then, as my eye wanders the rest of the image, I see one good thing after another. Your plant life, your placement of objects, everyting, looks natural. The atmosphere works perfectly. (I wish I knew how to do those alpha plans). Beautiful work...beautiful!

Looks great as usual. The haze works perfectly as far as I can see. The lighting is also wonderful. I've not used Vue so I'm not sure how hard lighting is, but if it's anything like the other proggies than AHHH! Great work. lol

There is an amazing depth in this one Thomas. Maybe the tree and groundvegetation could have a bit more light using a fill light in the front. The background is super!!!
