Description
I stumbled into this after going through a hard drive from my old PC. This is (I think) my first Bryce render. I know it's not much at all but it has some sentimental value to me. I was so discouraged at that time, I really hated Bryce, wishing I had 3dsmax. =) Needless to say, I didn't make too many renders shortly after this. I only started liking Bryce about 6 months ago. I actually have a few more old renders but I think it's a little ackward to post them now. I wish there was a way to rearrange our galleries. Anyways, I'm trying to figure out a way to post them.
Rendered in Metacreations Bryce 3d (1999). No Postwork. Frame in Photoshop today (2003). Don't be cruel, this is my first render. LOL. It's a little late for suggestions but they are most welcome. Thanks!

I would hide under a rock if I posted my first Bryce render. This is light years beyond what I was doing when I first started! Nice dark/forboding mood to this picture.

Interresting to see the evolution in 4-5 years. This one is cool for a beginning. I lost my first render in Bryce, but i thing it's better like this ;-)

You had the gift even at the start. I love the colors. You have improved but this is still an excellent render.

Your first Bryce work? Mmmmhhh, not bad at all for a beginner. I think I'll never post renderings I made 4-5 years ago :o)))) Well, I do know about sentimental value they sometimes have; it's also interesting to see your progress and, of course, I'm very glad that you keep using Bryce. - Carlo :o)

You have a brilliant eye for design, and that is why your first Bryce render comes out like that.

The Sunset 1999 posted near a work like, The Forbidden Fountain, show a real mastery and growing skill level with Bryce. What an accomplishment!

Not bad at all, Alvin! Those reddish water is a strongly good first sunset reflections! And I admire you a lot for having posted this first render of yours... could we maybe all post our first renders, maybe in the Bryce Forum? Could be an idea... seeing how much you improved from your first one could be a lot encouraging for everyone!
