Hey, what a great site! I learn so much by viewing the works of so many talented people as is found here. I love art, and I love computers. So there was no question that I would find myself in such company. :)BIOBorn in Ozarks, 1962. Began drawing at age 4 (in the inside covers of my parent's encyclopedias, haha). Began using computers in 1981, my first being a TI99A. Became a Computer Software Specialist in 1987. Currently working for a major greeting card company. Hopes of getting into magazine illustration or the like.

if it's Bakelite, that would date it to the late 19th-early 20th century. Great work, just needs some strings. With a coupla tweaks, you could make a 'courting' dulcimer, which had 2 sets of strings; as long as the boy and girl were playing, the adults could hear them behaving..when the music stopped, tho..;)

Yes, I was right... it's becoming a wonderful series. Just can't wait to see what other instruments you'll transform into jewels. --- Pakled: your info is really cool! :)
