Description

inspired by a print from MC Escher, a deep gorge cuts through an Italian hill town. -*- The arch was made in Carrara, and all the rest in Bryce. Walls are terrains impressed with texture. Lots of trees, to cover up the seams. Textures from animax.it, thanks animax! -*- thanks for dropping in!

Wonderful image, Jim. This is one of yours that I recognize since the very moment I put my eye on the thumbnail. Top-work on materials and the POV is striking. Everything in this image is beautiful: atmosphere, composition, details, light. A sure Hot20 for me.
