Description

This is the first major image I,ve tried with Cinema 4D V6. I got the idea from a Mamoru Oshii film called 'Avalon' and this is a scene from an animation that I'm currently working on. Most of the textures are from photos or scans which have then been 'dirtyed up' in paint shop pro. You can see more at www.photocybernetics.co.uk.Anyhoo comments warmly welcomed. Benten AKA Graham

I love the texturing and the subtle volumetrics. The lighting is what really sells this peice. Great job.

Realy nice work, one minor thing, try adjusting the brightness/contrast on that tree. The tree looks a bit flat, and could do with the black bringing out. Cheers.

This is an incredible piece - your lighting is spot on - the composition is awesome. I agree about the tree - the light on the tree cutout suggests "bright sunny day" whereas your scene is either stormy or at night... perhaps replacing the tree altogether will solve your problem... I really think despite that one tiny detail - this image is just great on so many levels... the lighting is some of the best I've seen in 3d... Congratulations on an excellent piece of work!

I really like the feel of this as much as the modeling. There is a lot of observation and time to make it look so good.

Hello Benten, Only someone who knows Polish (and I do) will notice that the writing in the picture isn't Polish. But don't bother! You picture is wonderful as it is! keep up the good work! Eddy.

Thanks to all for your positive comments. It started out as a simple building and I got carried away. Trouble is all my 3D goes that way so I have a very low turnout. BTW what does Spitze mean?
