I'm a color pencil artist originally. Some years ago I got the first Painter program called Dabbler. Didn't like it. I went on to get Bryce, then when Painter6 came out, I got that. Been in the digital world of art ever since. Been a member of Renderosity for quite a few years. It really is the best site there is. I believe. I'm a Clinical therapist in the mental health field by occupation. It pays the bills, but it doesn't fulfill the soul like my art. Still, I'm facinated with the "why" of the way people think, feel, and behave. The dynamics of the human condition is infinite, for good or ill.
I keep trying to improve my computer art skills through examples and pieces of other artists on Renderosity. Sometimes I feel like I want to run away and hide because I can't measure up to many of the other artists. Then, when I get comments as well as provide comments, I realize this is not about competition or competing, it's about learning and supporting each other to become better artists.
I also play music and was in a band for a number of years. Sold a song to a record company but nothing ever came of it. I even record my music on the computer now through a program called Cubase. Naively or otherwise, I see myself as a writer too. Trying to get the novel in my head onto paper. Genre? Fantasy/scifi of course.

absoluteley stunning, But I have to agree it deserves a bigger render and less compression or pixelation. Beautiful scene though.

A wonderful setting. I love specially the misty atmosphere, it adds a lot to the "felt" vastness of the city beyond. Excellent image.

Wonderful work! THe atmosphere and feel to it are very cinematic, perhaps a cleaner render?!?! The shadows beckon... I mean, in the image! Good stuff...!

Too sharp shadows... other than that, all is very fine. Make it bigger, for eye pleasure :)
