Description
I'm still working on this one, but I should have something in my gallery page.
It's an attempt at recreating the famous "Madam X" portrait painted by John Singer Sargent. Needless to say there were a lot of compromises.

i like the attempt. sargeant's "madame x" is a wonderfully bold execution at a time of public correctness. the straps of the dress will be key as will the disdainful expression of the face. looking forward to the completed work!

I'm assuming there's going to be something that determines the awkwardness of her right hand. Haven't memorised the original painting. It's remarkably like-- and also remarkably unlike. it will be interesting to see the punchline.
