I'm a 23 year old male from Denmark who have been doing this kind of artwork for about 2 years. It's something I love doing. I'm a Graphic Design Student and will be finished in 2004
After looking through my gallery some might think that I have a dark mind but thats not really the case. I just don't see anything exciting in making images of flowers or sweet little cats. I want to make things that makes people think, I want to get under the viewers skin, so to speak.

So the question is: What is your overall take on the hype behind this teen superstar? Do you feel that she represents all of the mindless garbage pop bullshit that runs rampant in the music industry in this day and age? Does this decayed rendering of her personage represent all that you despise in the music industry? Well regardless of my questioning and possible interpretations I do feel that she looks like a "Living Dead Girl."

Your not far from the truth. Actually your right, I don't like the music industry these days. Everything is so damn commercial. Alot of the music I listen to, such as Tool, Pearl Jam, Live, Jeff Buckley, is definetely not commercial. You see it at music awards too. It's not about how good music you make, it's how much you sell and those who sells the most gets the awards...makes me sick

you would deserve a rate merely for your music taste :) :) :) which is awesome, especially for the Jeff Buckley's mention (but I love all the rest too). About the work, the background actually is perfect now. The rest was perfect also before.

It's good to see there are still people out there with an excellent taste in music. You can certainly sum up the music industry with this image.

hehe...how can you accuse the music industry of being commercial? It's an industry, so the main focus is to make money as any industry. Tool, pearl jam and the rest are all commercial, in it that they have their cds promoted, do tours etc. If you are referring to the pop industry, then yes I share your vision. However, pop music is aimed at a certain audience that is highly susceptible to marketing strategies (read: teens). I could go on and on here, but I'd like to end with: NIRVANA still rules!
